We returned to Big Bear on 4/25 to continue our work on the Skyline Trail. The snow has all melted and the area is actually very dry already so we are happy to have some rain coming down.

It was nice to get out and ride the section we build last fall and see so many others out enjoying it too. The trail has bedded in nicely over the winter and is a lot of fun!

We now have almost one mile of trail rough cut since we returned. We will have more trail rough cut and ready for the Big Bear Valley Trails Foundation Volunteers to come in and do the finish work. They have several work days scheduled. The next one is on 5/19/13. If you want to join in to help out you can get more information from their website. http://trailsfoundation.org/2013-trail-work-schedule/

I’m sure it’s beautiful, I hope I can hike it when I come down next!
